TexTESOL V 2020 Winter Conference

The recursive nature of the new ELA, ELLA, and ESOL TEKS allows teachers and students to address the standards multiple times with increasingly complex texts. But what if your students are reading far below grade level or are just beginning to learn English? Saddleback provides high-interest, low readability books and instructional resources that will engage even the most reluctant readers. In this session, we will explore Saddleback's offerings and discuss how they can be used to support TEKS-based instruction for a variety of learners in grades, including emergent readers at the high school level.
