Fatina Jalambo is a District Family Engagement Facilitator and a Certified Practical Parent Education Facilitator; she has been credentialed by the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR), recognized in the U.S. and Canada. Fatina has formal teaching, research/community resources and education, curriculum development, and supporting families, educators, and administrators in public and charter schools.
Fatina is an American of Arab descent from the Levant, born and raised in Kuwait, eventually moving to Texas in 1992.
She obtained her teaching certification from the Texas Board of Education
In English, Language Arts & Reading (4th-8th), English as a Second Language
(EC-12), Special Education (EC-12), Language other than English-Arabic (EC-12),
And a Dyslexia practitioner, ALP. Also, she secured her Master of Education
From Wayne State University, in Instructional Technology (EC-12)
Fatina has been in the educational services since 2001 and HEB ISD since 2015. She has several hobbies: drawing, calligraphy, traveling, horseback riding, and hiking. Moreover, she adores horses, dogs, and cats!
